Roaring Fork Cycling and Basalt Middle School have teamed up to offer FREE after school mountain biking to all students in the Basalt area. No matter what school you are attending, if you are a 5th-8th grader, you are welcome to attend our mountain bike club!

Club Practices will focus on:

Skill Building

Bike Handling

Traill Riding

Personal Confidence & Independence

Details:

Meets at Basalt Middle School at 2:00pm on Wednesdays and 3:30pm on Fridays.

Wednesdays:

2p-2:30p Bike Checks, Gear Checks, and Group Building (Riders coming from other schools can arrive anywhere between 2p and 3:30p)

2:30p-4:30p Group Ride

Friday:

3:30p-4p Bike Checks, Gear Checks and Group Building (Riders coming from other schools can arrive anywhere between 3:30p and 4p)

4p-6p Group Ride

Program Runs from September 13th – October 20th

All abilities welcome. Riders must bring their own bike and helmet.

Mark is a snowboard and ski instructor based out of Snowmass. He loves mountain biking almost as much as snowsports and gets out riding as much as he can. “I am really excited about coaching the Basalt Middle School MTB Club and sharing more amazing recreation opportunities in the mid-valley.”
